Hoofprints Facilitated Learning offers therapeutic horsemanship sessions in a unique outdoor learning environment. We specialise in working with young people including, but not limited to, people with learning difficulties, sensory impairments, emotional & behavioural difficulties, depression, eating disorders, physical impairments, young carers, people with mental health difficulties and young people who feel excluded.
Our Vision To support people to be included in community life. The individuals we support are experiencing social exclusion or are at risk of being isolated through disability, long term illness or other disadvantage. We are focused on creating opportunities that inspire people who are searching to make a positive change in their lives. We take a unique person-centred and flexible approach, which means we tailor our support and groups to meet the needs of the participants we work with.
How? We work with schools, care providers, Local Authorities and individuals to offer inclusive sessions and educational programmes to mainstream and disadvantaged children. Please note that we do not offer riding, instead our focus is on providing person centred, positive learning experiences with a horse first approach.
